This is a volunteer, parent-participation program (unaffiliated to any mission/center and all-encompassing) where parents are expected to participate. The parents volunteer their time to serve as counselors, mentors, and hosts to fulfill the following objectives.
To educate children regarding the Hindu religion and culture
To follow a structured curriculum defined by parents for various age groups.
To teach Bhajans and Slokas and their meaning.
To perform Special poojas, understand their significance
To celebrate festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi, Dassera, Diwali, Christmas, Pongal.
To learn and perform plays, dramas, skits and sing devotional songs.
To learn arts and crafts relevant to the festivals.
To promote awareness of other religions and events through special programs.
To learn and practice yoga, praanaayaamaa and meditation.
To perform community service.
These objectives are realized as outcomes through our Sunday gatherings, structured curriculum, Annual social and religious celebrations.
